We love baby Charlie!

Sorry this is so late, but CONGRATS to our favorite people--Brenna and JP--they have the cutest baby in the world. He is such a funny little guy...he loves to sleep, suck on his hand, and make newborn squeaks.

Looking Back at Our Wedding Day...

It's crazy how time flies once you're married. And being an expert "married person," here are some thoughts/reflections on the past 1 1/2 years:
1. You lose some friends after you get married.
2. You gain some weight after you get married.
3. You realize that you are weird after you get married.
4. You realize that you are a really crappy cook after you get married.
5. You get to have lots and LOTS of sex after you get married.
6. You get to share everything after you get married.
7. His problem is your problem, and your problem is most definitely his problem...after you get married.
8. There is nothing funner in the world than being married!

Random Useless Facts.

1: My hair is getting long. Finally.

2: I have a huge crush on Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. I'm talking obsession, here. Last Halloween, Dan was Ashley and I was Mary Kate. Obviously, we were a spitting image.

3: This is Dan and I during a pregnant photo shoot...I am mostly just proud of the tablet I created.

4: I found this awesome high chair at DI and purchased it for $3 and sold it for $75. Looking back now, I wish I would have kept it!


5: Dan was just as cute when he was 5 as he is now! I, on the other hand, had a serious buck-tooth problem.

We love Lily...if you haven't already noticed.

Sometimes there just aren't words. Lily is our absolute favorite. Does that mean that the Lyman clan will be reproducing any time soon? Fat chance. I would love to spend as much time as possible with Lily, and be able to give her everything she needs (financially, emotionally, spiritually, physically, etc.) Not that I am against big families or lots of kids in a row, but I am constantly relieved that's not the way we want to do our family. I feel so lucky to have this time with Lily and Dan and nobody else. I couldn't ask for anything more in the world.

I hate dogs.

I begged and begged Dan to get a dog for Lily so I wouldn't have to give her a brother. But today I learned that I hate them. Cute faces, stinky everything else. This is the end of Day 1 of dog-sitting, and I want to die.

Blogging is F for Fun

We just got back from West Yellowstone, and boy was it fun! We have some more pictures coming...of Dan wake boarding, D & R knee boarding, Rach skiing, etc. But these are a few of us just hanging out at the beach and the cabins, having the time of our lives!





These are Lily's grizzly bear slippers she got from Pappy. She loves them!



There was only one huge downfall to the trip...the MOSQUITOES! They were KILLER this year! This is a picture of my back after we got home. Despite my obsessive attempts to protect myself with bug repellent, my skin must be too sweet. Dan counted 60+ just on my shoulders and upper back.

Cottage Cheese Fiasco

All moms know that some days suck. For me, a lot of days suck. So tonight when I was at my wit's end, stressed to the max, I walk in the kitchen to find Lily helping herself to cottage cheese. As tired and worn out as I was, all I could do was laugh. I pulled up a chair, gave her milky high-five's, and pulled out the camera. I am going to have to say that it was one of our most memorable nights ever.

I couldn't help but sneak in and take a picture of Lily sleeping like a little angel. It's funny how they can sleep like angels after acting like little devils all day!

Bye Bye Mustache...

We're all really sad to see Dan's mustache go. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted!!

Lily turns 1!!

Time flies...well, that's what everyone tells me. But BOY has it been a looong year!





Lily didn't really know what was going on... but she was determined to have fun anyway.
