Playing with Lily
Lily is so cute and fun! I chase her all around the house and I love to hear her little laugh. We usually hang out in our jammies until about noon. 'Tis the life.
Here are some pictures of Lily playing peek-a-boo with the bathroom door:

She's wearing her "bear slippies" she got from her Pappy.
In this picture I was trying to get a close-up of the slippers, but instead got an embarrassing shot of my HAIRY LEGS! Yikes.
And this is Lily going down for her nap. She won't fall asleep without her passy and all her little friends.

The Epitome of Pathetic...
Yesterday I had to be up, dressed, Lily dressed & fed and out the door by 10am. This is hard. I (obviously) had no time to shower, so I came up with a delightful little plan. I figured if I put on workout clothes and tennis shoes, people would think that I had just worked out, and not that I was totally disgusting! So I sported a "sporty spice" look all day and didn't get any dirty looks. It was perfect.

Artic Picnic
Yesterday I had the ingenious idea of having Dan, Lily and I meet Brenna, JP and Charlie at the park for a picnic around 6:00. By the time we sat down to eat, it was FREEZING!! We scarfed down our food and quickly drove home. So much for that idea! At least Lily had a fun time running around the grassy hills.

Longboarding
Dan went longboarding this weekend in the Hobble Creek canyon. I told him to make sure he didn't die (and he obeyed) but he DID come home with blood everywhere! He had one big fall that scraped his knee, arm and fingers. He completely burned all the skin of one finger and it looked so gross! Thankfully, he won't need any stitches and he'll be back on a board in no time.

Here's Lily practicing. She can't wait for her dad to teach her.

Lily + Nana = Fun, Fun, Fun!
This weekend my mom was here from Denver just to see Lily! They had so much fun...you can tell they are special buddies. Lily definitely knows who her Nana is!

We had so much fun going out to eat, going shopping and finding some great bargains, and of course, kissing Lily.
We also went to a cute pumpkin patch in Springville. Unfortunately, we didn't get there until dark, but we had a fun time stumbling over pumpkins and vines. Lily picked out a gourd and it is her little friend she carries around everywhere.

Lily took a tumble in the hay maze...we were trying not to laugh that she face-planted and even got straw in her hair!

My Denver Family
I just got some cute pictures from my dad of the fam in Denver.
Here they are at Hannah's cross country meet: (from L to R)
Spencer (10), Sarah (20), Heidi (14), Blake (6), MJ (30), Hannah (14), Paul (65).
Ha ha, just kidding mom and dad! We're only missing Zach (18) and the Lymans.
And here's Heidi and Hannah. I can't believe they're 14 and smarter, taller, cooler, and way more talented than me.
Cute Crap
1. This is my first OFFICIAL completed sewing project! (That means I followed directions, used a pattern, hand-stitched, and didn't use any hot glue). It's a pin cushion!
2. Check out these ADORABLE rain boots I got for Lily! I am so happy (and proud of myself) because they only cost $8.
