Provo Canyon

We had such a fun Memorial Day with our friends in the Provo Canyon! It was beautiful and relaxing and adventurous (for the kiddos!)

Spoiled + DIY Project

I am obsessive. Most of you know that -- my cleaning, organizing, music, and the way I do day-to-day things. So now that it's getting warmer, I wanted to make sure Lily is totally comfortable while we're in the car and not too hot.

So first, I bought her a fan that plugs into my cigarette lighter. I will still have the A/C on but she can turn this fan on anytime she needs it.

Next, I make sure that the car is always stocked with coloring books and markers, and are easily within reach.

And here's the fun part. . .a sun protector for her carseat!! Don't you hate it when you have to put your child in the car and their seat and the buckles are burning hot?? I made this cover and it is SO EASY -- all you do is buy a folding reflector that is usually for windshields, and add a cute border of your choice!

This way, my cute Lily can always be comfortable!

Pre-Summer Fun!

Bedroom Refashion

Since my apartment is so small, I decided to create a space for myself to relax, feel comfortable and peaceful. My bedroom! I walk in and the cheery colors and fun details make it a great place to read, play My Little Ponies with Lily, or put myself in a time out so I can calm down.

Getting Ready for Gardening!

It's still a little cold to plant yet. . .(thanks a lot Provo weather!)

But I am ready for when things warm up!

DIY Chevron Stripe Flower Pots

One day I was driving down the road and saw an old man replacing these flower pots. I quickly made a U-Turn and begged him for them. YAY!
So I sprayed them black and taped like crazy. . .

And ended up with these awesome flower pots on my front patio:

I also made a turquoise one for my girl D'Laina and that turned out so cute as well!
