Blog Slacker

Hi guys! Sorry for abandoning my blog lately...with so many changes going on, it's hard to keep up!
Lily and I had a blast going to the local farmer's market and looking around. It also helped that it was at a park with an awesome playground. :)
Lily got her face painted as a "dinosaur" and went around growling at everyone!

Talk about easy!
1. Clean

2. Paint (multiple coats)

3. Add some paper hearts and Mod Podge to your heart's content.

Now this serves as a fun container for Lily's puzzle pieces!

High-Waisted Summer Skirts

I exchanged some handmade skirts for babysitting (what a deal!) and had such a fun time. It was so much fun to make skirts for a darling, size 00 glam girl. (Making skirts for myself isn't as fun...I use a loooot of elastic.)

Saturdays

I know today's Wednesday, but we had such a fun day on Saturday. (It's funny how I always look forward to the weekend, even this early in the week!)
This last weekend we spent the day at the park...

My New Job

During this transition time, between Dan's graduation and landing a dream job, I have started working at IKEA in Draper. So far, it's awesome! (and it's only my second week!)

School Bus

A big yellow school bus stops in front of our house every day and Lily loves to look for it. The other day we were outside while some kids were waiting for the bus so Lily ran inside and grabbed 2 things: Her backpack and her bus.
She felt like such a big kid!

Touch-Up

I got my tattoo touched up last night and IT FREAKING HURT!! And I'm talking waaaay more than the first time. I am a total wuss.
