I've spent the last two weeks selling things on KSL and couldn't believe how much money I made!! I was saving up to buy my dream shelves from IKEA (see Monday's upcoming post!)

Because I looooove pumpkin seeds, we spent last night just cutting some pumpkins up to find those yummy seeds! Lily loved playing with the "guts" and I was surprised at how messy I let things get. But it was totally worth it because we had so much fun!
We had so much fun at Pumpkin Land in Orem. We picked out pumpkins, got lost in a corn maze, fed some animals and even played on the bounce houses. It was a blast!
Can anyone tell me what is wrong with these Barbies???
Duh, they don't have MERMAID TAILS!! Lily was sweet enough to point this out to me, so I decided to indulge her and sew some tails for her "sisters" (that's what she calls her Barbies!)
With our new crazy schedules of work, preschool and day care, we spend a lot of time getting from place to place. So (thanks to many of your suggestions) I busted out a bunch of mini-lunches to freeze and take with us on the go.
Since our big plumbing fiasco (Dan saved us all!) Lily has been fascinated with TOOLS. We love that she enjoys princesses & barbies AND cars & tools!
My Grammy dropped off this pony for Lily...and she loves it. She insists that I drag it into every room she is in at the time - except for the bathroom, in which I refuse to do so. She has named it "Peto" - where that came from, we don't know. But she is in love!

We are so excited that Dan found a great job! He is doing animation for Lime Marketing, located downtown Provo. They love his work and has already impressed them greatly. We love you Dan!
This weekend, take 20 minutes to organize your linen closets! Pull out everything, wipe down the shelves, re-fold and put everything back. (Having a perfectly-folded closet is the key to all happiness!)
I never could figure out how you do it...working, kids, groceries, keeping your house clean, your kids happy, etc. I only work 30 hours a week and for the most part, I feel like a chicken running around with its head cut off, frantically scrambling and playing never-ending catch up. For those of you who know me and my obsessive/controlling tendencies, this is a very hard way to live for me.
So what gets me through the day??
Diet Coke, Lily, Dan, Diet Coke, Exercising (it's been a few months now and I am feeling great!), and Diet Coke.
FINALLY, (3 years later!) I have replaced the oh-so-drab curtains up in our kitchen. I love these new ones, 60's chic and delightfully upcycled from D.I.
