Today Lily thought she discovered some "snacks" in my purse. When she opened them up, she was sorely disappointed. And quite confused.

Nothing but Professional

YAY! After about 6 weeks of working on this dress (and mucho props to Miriam and Brianne for their support) it's finally done!! Let me just tell you that sewing is not as easy as it seams. (Ha ha, I am so hilarious)

Laundry and Boobies

Today Lily helped me put away the laundry...and this included her running around the house with panties on her head and trying to put a bra on her "boobiesh." She is so crazy! (I wonder where on earth she gets it...)

A Little Bit Crafty

Hi friends! I wanted to share a fresh idea that I love...homemade air fresheners! They don't cover odors, but instead absorb them. And they only cost $2 (ea) to make!

What you need:
Mason jar (grab one for $1 at your local D.I.)
1 box of baking soda
Scraps of lace/fabric/ribbon

Fill your mason jar with baking soda and top with lace and a bow! They are so easy, work so well, and are so cute! I have one in my fridge, my microwave, bathroom and coat closet. All you need to do is stir the soda about every 2 weeks, and the freshness stays for months. YAY!

Chillin' with Charlie

Lily loves Charlie (which isn't news to anyone) and they got to enjoy some TV time together!!

When our friend Roger was here, Lily was trying to look just as cool as he does by wearing his glasses and driving Charlie's car around the house.

Today I was bored [shock] so I fixed some of my jeans I don't wear. I hate it when I rip holes in the knees (which is easy when you have a toddler!) so I sewed patches and I'm so excited!

If you read my other blog, you might understand why this has been a hard week. BUT THAT IS NO EXCUSE! I have been a disgusting, horrible, selfish, smelly SLOB! So in the efforts that posting these pictures are some way of "coping," I share my secrets with you all. Please don't judge me.

Hello, my long lost friends! Sorry it's been so long, but we have good reason...Dan and I just got back from California!! We got to go without Lily (which was a treat in itself) but here are some of the fun things we did:

Even though it was foggy and cold, we went to Newport Beach for a baguette/Camembert cheese picnic. We also found seashells to bring back home to Lily!




We got to our hotel room (right across from Disneyland) and to our surprise, we had 2 queen beds! This ended up being AWESOME because we sprawled out and got some serious sleep.

The main reason we were there was because Dan was in JJ's wedding. It was so fun and an awesome ceremony/reception!
