Hi Friends! We're back from Denver and SO glad to be home. Here are some more pictures from our trip:
1. Lily loved to pretend to call Daddy and say, "Hi Daddy, Bye."

2. Here's one of me teasing Lily, telling her to reach for my diet cola.
3. SNOW DAY! It snowed for 2 days straight and we were stuck inside the whole time! Here's Lily measuring the snow with a ruler:

4. We got to visit my good friend Celeste and her little guy Xander. Xander and Lily are only 10 days apart! It took them a while, but they finally warmed up to each other.
5. Lily was really glad when Nana and Pappy came home!

Denver: Part 1
I found a cord!! I won't bore you with details, but here are some highlights of our trip so far:
1. Packing. Lily thought she had to go in the suitcase in order to get here.
2. Shopping. We walked around and outdoor shopping mall and enjoyed the nice weather!

3. Lily loves playing Rock Band! (She's always on the drums)
4. We are all weird. Hopefully, this comes as no surprise.
Blake:

Spencer:

Heidi:
Rach w/ goldfish in her teeth:
5. Lily ate a blue popsicle.
6. My brothers are so funny; Blake wrote this on his Panda Express so Spencer wouldn't eat it:
"For Spen - Touch and you will die"
And Spencer turned the trash can into a dude.
We are having so much fun! We'll keep you updated!
My Dream Vacuum
Remember how I fell in love with the Magic Eraser a few months ago? Well, now I'm in love all over again. I have been absolutely swept off my feet by...
...my parent's vacuum!!
It is the Dyson DC18 model, and you would not believe how it maneuvers around chairs, nooks, under the cabinets, etc. And you can go straight from the carpet to hardwood floors. It is amazing!
And it only costs $499.99! (yikes!)
Someday I will own it, or it's brother model, Dyson's very best, the DC17. Again, get yours now for only $699.99. Someday!! For now, I will just keep dreaming.

ALI WAS HERE!
As you all know, Ali is my one and only friend (go me). So we had SO MUCH FUN when she was here this past week visiting from Florida!
We had a girl's day at PF Chang's, shopping, and getting our errands on.

We also had a lot of fun just hanging out and getting to spend time together.

We made feather masks that scared Lily...and pretty much everyone else who saw us in them.
And since the weather has been nicer, we've been able to take Lily outside to play a lot more often. There are some horses that live just up the street and she loves to see the horsies and feed them apples!

YAY for a super-fun week with Ali!!
Can't Get Enough
Lily and I watch Elmo EVERY DAY! I have had to start limiting her movie time to ONLY during deliveries (so she doesn't get so bored in the car). It's mostly because I am starting to go crazy! If she could, Lily would watch Elmo's World 24-hours a day! But it sure is cute to hear her walking around the house singing the theme song. What a cutie!
Thank You, Thank You!
To everyone who responded to my leash questioning: THANK YOU! I really appreciate all the input. After much deliberation, I have made a decision that I feel bests suits Lily and I. Honestly, I don't disagree with any of you, but we have decided to keep on living life leash-free.
Here is my thinking: Leashes are for dogs. People use leashes for their dogs because they cannot train them to stay close. But, as we all know, the human brain is far more available to such "training" than a dog's is. So although it may take time, I can teach Lily to stay close to me in all situations so she can stay safe.
Again, Thanks for your comments!!

I Need Your Help!
Hi blogging buddies! Today I was at the airport and had a CRAZY time chasing Lily around, trying to keep her close to me. Then a friend suggested I get her a "child harness," aka: a leash for your kid. I just don't know what I think. The whole idea makes me uneasy. Am I just being silly? I just wanted to hear your input and see what you think. Let me know, I appreciate it!

Meet B.
Hello, everyone! I am Lily's newest friend, Beatrice. She calls me "B." I know I am ugly, but that's how Rachel wanted to make me. She has this weird obsession with hideously ugly things...but that's a whole other discussion.
