My girlfriend D'Laina and I took on the BRAVE TASK of making minkie blankets for our kids for Christmas. Here is how things turned out:
POSITIVE:
1. We got to choose our fabric (which we loved!)
2. Our kids loved them
NEGATIVE:
1. Seriously took 15+ hours
2. Spent more money than if we were buying them
3. Broke my sewing machine
4. Had to learn LOTS about sewing!!

Aww those are cute. Lily loves it so it's all worth it right? ;)
Lesson learned! You pretty much did all the work so THANK YOU! They did turn out amazing and our fabric rocked!
